Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including food preparation service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food handling and safety are maintained.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Handle inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.
- Conduct interviews and hire staff members who align with our restaurants values and culture.
- Implement effective shift management practices to optimize staff performance during peak hours.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers for quality ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor financial performance including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen management techniques.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff members.
- Experience in inventory control processes to maintain efficient operations.
- Proficiency in interviewing techniques to build a strong team.
- Ability to manage shifts effectively while ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained.
- Experience with bar management is preferred.
