Speech and Language PathologistLong Term Substitute
**Effective September 2 2025 through November 3 2025**
Long Term Substitutes receive a daily rate of $125.00 for the first 20 days of work. Starting on the 21st day they are compensated at the daily rate for either a Bachelors ($345.39) or Masters ($370.56) level based on their qualifications for the remainder of their assignment.
DEFINITION:
The Speech Language Pathologist Long Term Substitute is an employee member of the school staff designated by the Superintendent of Schools. The speech and language pathologist is primarily responsible for providing researchbased intervention for students with identified speech and language deficits and supporting the success of these students in the larger classroom setting. The speech and language pathologist is also responsible for evaluating students with suspected speech and language deficits. The speech and language pathologist should be committed to continuously improving the speech and language skills of students through collaboration with teachers school leaders and parents.
