Job Description

Under the general direction of the Sr. Director Hospital Donation Strategy the Resource Development Strategist is responsible for the development and deployment of hospital partner programs and serves as a dedicated liaison to targeted departments utilizing a service line approach to training and education initiatives with a special emphasis the authorization and referral processes and related strategies such as preliminary discussions. Utilizing organizational data and metrics the Resource Development Strategist is also responsible for assisting in process improvement and standardization initiatives in all aspects of field training resources.  This position would also maintain a reduced hospital assignment to serve the duties required by a Hospital Donation Strategist.

The position will require travel to New England Donor Services hospital partners and the New England Donor Services Waltham office.

FOCUS AREAS/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as a dedicated resource and liaison to the Donation Strategy team with a focus on ensuring comprehensive education plans are developed and deployed to our hospital partners in a manner that will impact our key performance indicators.
  • Participates in tracking analysis and reporting on all data elements associated with the Hospital Donation Strategy Teams metrics performing ongoing data analysis to target specific areas for improvements using a variety of sources to include nonconformances.  In conjunction with department leaders participates in ongoing data analysis to target specific areas for improvement.
  • Works with Hospital Donation Strategy Team Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and department leaders to develop interactive materials including asynchronous and instructorled programs elearnings multimedia content compliance training onboarding and other supporting materials to ensure an effective learning experience for hospital partners utilizing evidencebased engagement and knowledge transfer and retention strategies.
  • Facilitates key aspects of field resource materials including course development and evaluation leading sim session facilitation and overseeing debriefing sessions. Supports simulation activities by anticipating preparing and providing the appropriate materials and supplies required based on scenario parameters.
  • Participates in the development dissemination and evaluation of surveys related to hospital initiatives and feedback responsible for analysis of results to identify any needed modifications.
  • Researches and stays current with emerging educational technologies and provides coaching and training to Hospital Donation Strategy team on delivery of learning solutions.
  • Performs duties and responsibilities that are outlined in the Hospital Donation Strategist job description. 
  • Serves as an active member on related committees.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources education communication psychology or related field from an accredited college or university; or in lieu of a bachelors degree an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required. Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Hospital Development experience preferred.  OPO experience required.

  • Data Analysis: Ability to collect analyze and present data to identify patterns trends and relationships among variables.

  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead organize and manage multiple projects adapt to changing priorities and utilize timemanagement skills to meet deadlines.
  • Computer & Application Literacy: Proficiency Microsoft 365 suite Learning Management Systems TrueNorth Slack as well as ability to navigate the internet.
  • Team Building: Proven ability to work in and lead teams that produce results. 
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to critically think solve problems and work productively both independently and as a team participant. Skilled in active listening and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrates the ability to understand use and manage emotions in positive ways to relieve stress communicate effectively empathize with others overcome challenges and diffuse conflict.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

  • Required to travel by personal vehicle and NEDS authorized vehicles to meet the duties and responsibilities of this position. Must maintain the requirements of an eligible driver including maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and required minimum personal automobile insurance per NEDS automobile policy.
  • Valid state drivers license required and must be at least 21 years of age to drive for NEDS business.
