The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for improving the overall manufacturing process by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of product design fabrication assembly and materials. The manufacturing Engineer is also responsible for developing and maintaining work standards within the HarbisionWalker Business Systems (HBS) criteria.
- Manager small plant maintenance force and set up routine inspections/performance metrics
- Interface with operations management and customers
- Modify design or create new products tooling and equipment
- Implement new programs that enhance processes with maintenance department utilizing Lean manufacturing principles
- Analyze the process of efficiencies
Qualifications
- Requires Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing Six Sigma and LEAN Management principles.
- Proficient MS Office and CAD/Drafting skills.
- Strong analytical interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Two (2) four (4) years of industrial manufacturing engineer experience.
