About the role
An exciting career opportunity exists in our Canberra office fora Lawyer (01) PAE to join our workers compensation practice. Thisis an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking formentorship and to build their litigation experience in a supportiveenvironment.
This role will give you exposure to interesting work from avariety of insurers and the opportunity to work with and learn frompreeminent practitioners in the field. You will be mentored by aleading partner and develop your skills in legal research draftingadvices and written submissions briefing and liaising with expertwitnesses and counsel gathering evidence and preparing matters forresolution or hearing with the goal of managing your ownfiles.
You will also have early exposure to court appearance work andadvocacy.
About you
You will be an admitted lawyer with a strong interest in workingcollaboratively to resolve compensation claims and a commitment toproviding outstanding service to our clients. Yourstrong customer service skills will be highly valued. Some of theother skills and qualities we are looking for include:
