Corporate / Commercial Law Senior Associate
Location: Leeds Yorkshire
Board-Level Opportunity Hybrid Working Strategic Leadership Role
The Opportunity
Were recruiting for a well-established forward-thinking Yorkshire law firm seeking a Senior Corporate / Commercial Solicitor. This is a key strategic hire with a clear route to a Board-level position for the right individual.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and entrepreneurial solicitor to take ownership of high-quality corporate matters play a central role in shaping the firms future and join an inclusive leadership team committed to growth innovation and client care.
The Role
You will lead on a range of corporate matters including:
- Share and asset sales and acquisitions (500k20m)
- Company restructuring and shareholder agreements
- EMI share option schemes and investment work
- Corporate governance director support and advisory
- General corporate support to long-standing clients
The firm has a strong presence in the technology sector so exposure to commercial/tech-related legal work (data protection IP SaaS agreements) is welcomed but not essential. Future recruitment is planned and youll have input on team growth and structure.
What Were Looking For
- Experienced Corporate Solicitor with strong technical and transactional skills
- Confident managing matters independently and providing strategic advice
- Commercially-minded with proven client relationship development abilities
- Comfortable supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Some familiarity with non-sector-specific commercial work would be useful
