Job Description
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a fulltime permanent Merchandise and Store Person to join our Warren branch to help support instore sales of our agricultural merchandise products.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for assisting sales and providing customer support as well as ensuring orders are received and dispatched for delivery safely and ontime. Tasks are varied and will include:
- Performing general administrative tasks including stock control and dispatching of goods
- Assisting customers and processing counter sales
- Forklift operation and onfarm deliveries
- Goods dispatch
- Inventory control
- Maintaining safety processes
- Loading and unloading trucks dispatching and unpacking orders and deliveries
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition you will demonstrate:
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid longterm customer relationships
- Full drivers licence is required a HC licence and forklift ticket is advantageous. You must be willing to obtain a forklift ticket. Well provide you with the required training for this.
