We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring that our fleetcomprised of tractors trailers and forkliftsoperates efficiently and safely. If you are an experienced technician with leadership qualities and a passion for process improvement we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians ensuring effective maintenance and repair of fleet equipment.
- Maintain the overall health and safety of our vehicles and equipment.
- Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Make timely and sound decisions especially under pressure.
- Delegate tasks set clear expectations and monitor progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and recognition to team members.
- Coach and develop technicians fostering growth and a commitment to quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of handson mechanical experience with tractors trailers or forklifts (required).
- Mechanical Knowledge: At least 1 additional year of general mechanical understanding (preferred).
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent (required); technical training (preferred).
