Job Description
Location: Syracuse NY
Industry: Manufacturing
Employment Type: Full-Time
- Disassemble and troubleshoot machinery to identify electrical or mechanical issues
- Repair or replace damaged components and reassemble equipment following safety standards
- Adjust machines to required specifications and ensure effective operation
- Inspect machine cycles and diagnose malfunctions using electrical/mechanical theory
- Perform electrical testing and system verification
- Troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards
- Use complex schematics manuals and test procedures for diagnostics and repair
- Complete other electrical/mechanical duties as assigned
- Report unusual conditions and use sound judgment when making decisions
- High school diploma or equivalent (from an accredited institution)
- 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade
- Experience with ladder logic industrial motor control schematics and blueprint reading
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse NY
- Stable work history (no job hoppers; minimum 2 years in each previous role)
- Experience with CNC maintenance
- Background in machining and electrical equipment
- Associate degree in electronics or military electronics experience
- Experience working with hydraulics
