Job Description
NiX is looking for a talented Lead Power BI developer to join our team!
Our client is one of Europes fastestgrowing mobile companies with 4.5 million active customers 1000 employees worldwide and operations in five countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring data accuracy performance and scalability of the Power BI solution
- Design and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards data models and reports
- Advocate for best practices in BI and data governance continuously improve the system
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement security measures to ensure data privacy and compliance with industry standards
- Work closely with database administrators and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with underlying data sources
- Ensure the enhanced documentation on Power BI solution
- Provide technical support and training to endusers on Power BI backend functionalities
- Clearly and concisely update stakeholders on the status of work items
Requirements:
- 5 years of proven experience with Power BI
- Microsoft Power BI experience
- Experience with at least one alternative reporting tool
- Experience with handling complex data sets like above 20GB with complex hierarchies
- Experience with real time streaming refreshes & batch refreshes
- Experience in user group management in Power BI
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of Power BI architecture data modeling DAX and AML
- Experience working with SQL data modeling and ETL processes
- Experience in working with repository tools such as Azure DevOps BitBucket GITHub Docker
- Familiarity with data governance security and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills attention to details
- Ability to communicate complex data in a clear concise manner
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field
Would be a plus:
- Microsoft Power BI Certification
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of languages such as Python
- Experience with MS Azure or other cloud
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with Synapse
