Epicor Kinetic Configurator Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and technically strong Epicor Kinetic Configurator Developer to join our client s Implementation Services team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Epicor Kinetic Configurator toolset though experience with the classic configurator may also be considered. This role is client-facing requiring the ability to gather complex requirements and turn them into scalable functional product configurators.

Youll collaborate with internal consultants and client stakeholders to design develop and implement configurators for a wide range of industries. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth company with a flexible team-oriented environment and a clear focus on both company and individual success.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to identify and document product configurator requirements.

• Create functional requirement documents and development plans with clear estimates.

• Design develop test and deploy Epicor Kinetic product configurators using the App Studio toolset and C# scripting.

• Provide training to client users on maintaining and updating configurators.

• Enhance and maintain existing configurators.

• Participate in discovery UAT and go-live activities as part of implementation projects.

• Maintain continuous certification in Epicor Configurator and related modules.

• Travel to client sites and conferences as needed (expected travel less than 30%).

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing Epicor Kinetic Configurators.

• Strong C# development experience specific to configurator logic and scripting.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a consulting environment.

• Proven experience working directly with clients to gather requirements and manage expectations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing engineering and business process flows within ERP systems.

Epicor-Specific Knowledge

• Epicor Kinetic Application Studio and related modules:

  • Sales Management Engineering Job Management and Pricing

• Experience with:

  • Multi-page Configurators with control and page validations

  • Lookup and Configurator Control Data tables

  • Smart Strings UDMs and Method Rules

  • Epicor s Data Management Tool (DMT)

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Multi-level or enterprise-level configurator development.

• Quality Assurance/Inspection Configurators.

• Integration with eCommerce and REST-based services.

• Familiarity with Epicor BPM Functions Management and older Epicor versions (Vantage 9 10).

• Experience with BarTender or EDI solutions.

General Expectations

• Maintain Epicor certifications (Operations Technical Tools Configurator) on a quarterly basis.

• Accurately track time and update work tickets daily in PSA.

• Contribute to internal training mentoring and scheduled team calls.

• Adhere to project management standards and deliverable timelines.
