Job Description
Position Overview: The Business Development Executive / Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities generating leads and securing new cleaning service contracts for the company. This role focuses on expanding the companys client base through proactive sales efforts and building relationships with potential customers. The Manager role would also focuses on securing contracts managing client portfolios and providing leadership to the business development team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development
Identify and approach potential clients within assigned territories or market segments
Conduct cold calls and follow up on leads to secure appointments
Prepare and present comprehensive service proposals and quotations
Respond to tenders and requests for quotations within required timeframes
Negotiate contract terms within company guidelines
2. Client Relationship Management
Conduct site surveys to assess client requirements
Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth service delivery
Collect client feedback and communicate to relevant departments
May require occasional evening or weekend work for client meetings
3. Market Research & Analysis
Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Identify new market opportunities and potential service offerings
Gather intelligence on pricing trends and customer preferences
Contribute to the development of sales strategies and approaches
4. Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records in the company s system
Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports
Document client requirements and contract specifications
Manage salesrelated documentation and filing systems
Track and report on sales pipeline and conversion rates
5. Professional Development
Stay updated on industry developments and cleaning technologies
Participate in sales training and professional development activities
Contribute to team meetings and knowledge sharing
6. Key Account Management (Manager role)
Personally manage relationships with major clients and key accounts
Develop account growth strategies for existing clients
Oversee contract negotiations for agreements
Resolve complex client issues and ensure service excellence
Coordinate crossdepartmental efforts for key accounts
7. Strategic Planning & Reporting (Manager role)
Contribute to the companys strategic planning process
Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance
Analyse competitive landscape and provide strategic insights
Collaborate with operations and finance on service delivery planning
Represent the company at industry events and networking forums
8. Team Leadership (If applicable)
Lead coach and mentor business development executives
Set and monitor individual and team performance targets
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
Implement effective sales processes and methodologies
Facilitate regular team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma or higher in Business Marketing Sales or related field
13 years of experience in sales or business development roles
5 years of experience in sales or business development roles for Managerial role with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leader capacity
Strong understanding of contract terms and negotiation principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Fluent in English
Valid driving license will be preferred
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in B2B sales
Familiarity with the cleaning industry facility management or hospitality industry
Experience with quotation preparation submission and pitching
Track record of achieving sales targets

Working Hours:
Mon to Fri: 8:30am to 5:30pm
