You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a proactive and detailoriented EHS Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of environmental health and safety compliance within our organization. The successful candidate will ensure a safe working environment for employees comply with regulatory standards and promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
Monitor and enforce compliance with local state and federal EHS regulations and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification across various work areas.
Lead and document incident investigations root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Develop and deliver safety training toolbox talks and awareness programs.
Inspect facilities machinery and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
Maintain and update EHS documentation records permits and reports.
Support environmental sustainability efforts including waste management and pollution control.
Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct periodic safety drills.
Liaise with regulatory agencies auditors and thirdparty vendors as needed.
Promote continuous improvement in EHS performance across the organization.
Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health & Safety Engineering or a related field.
NEBOSH IOSH First Aid / CPR certification and any other relevant EHS certification will be considered.
2 years of experience in an EHS role preferably in an Engineering and Telecommunication setting..
Strong knowledge of OSHA EPA and other applicable EHS regulations.
Experience with ISO 14001 ISO 45001 standards is a plus.
Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies (e.g. JSA HIRA).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
Competent in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint); experience with EHS software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
