Banking Lawyer
Banking Lawyer 34 years PQE
Location: Birmingham
Brief
We are currently looking to recruit a Birmingham based Lawyer with 34yrs PQE to join our Finance team. The work will be on banking transactions in respect of real estate finance leveraged finance and corporate lending regionally and nationally.
Background
We advise a broad range of funders and borrowers on a wide variety of financing transactions. We act for all the UK clearing banks a number of other European and investment banks independent financiers and investment funds on all types of facilities from acquisition finance leveraged finance and real estate finance. We also act for many borrowers from listed companies to small enterprises on their financings. Our practice is broad and very varied.
We have a high quality legal service banking team with access to a deep knowledge of current market practice. We deliver a truly partner led service and strongly believe in being fully joined up across our network of offices. Our talented team of lawyers has an insight and appreciation of the needs and pressures of clients in the financial services sector. We are renowned for the quality and speed of delivery of our advice our innovative thinking and our grasp of commercial issues.

The Candidate Required
The successful candidate must have experience as a qualified finance lawyer. The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in either a leading national or City firm. Candidates must be technically strong but equally important commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach and excellent communication and organisational skills. A willingness to work across a variety of the banking specialism and with a number of different partners is a must. In return the candidate will receive unrivalled exposure to a range of exciting and challenging finance work.
