Reporting to the Director Safeguarding you will lead the monitoring and management of highrisk client incidents and events nationally across the Child Youth and Family (CYF) division. Youll work closely with State Directors the National Safeguarding Unit (NSU) the Office for General Counsel and other key stakeholders to ensure appropriate responses to high risk client incidents prepare safeguarding practice reviews and monitor continuous improvement in safeguarding practice.
A key focus of this role is to uplift safeguarding capability across teams supporting staff development embedding best practice and driving proactive learning across the organisation. Drawing on your strong sector experience youll provide leadership and insight in shaping national safeguarding responses.
This is a permanent full time position offering flexibility to work from your preferred location whether that is your home or from an LWB office. Occasional office attendance will be required for training meetings and other business needs. While core business hours apply there may be occasions where support is required outside standard hours for urgent or critical matters.
