This is a part-time position which will work no more than 32 hours each week.
Under the direction of the supervisor this position reviews & verifies incoming information (e.g. copies of certificates verifies total hours completed course approval & attendance of continuing education claimed by licensees) regarding applicants for registration/renewal. Identifies problems determines status & completeness & contacts applicants or licensees regarding submitted materials or to obtain additional information ensures compliance with applicable laws rules &/or procedures determines accuracy completeness & acceptability.
Prepares files for data entry by records management section files applications records & reports; drafts types & files correspondence pertaining to testing utilizes database for retrieval of information; logs examination results & maintains records related to testing of applicants. Answers questions from applicants regarding status of application.
Receives training in application reviews process (e.g. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Registered Nurses (RNs) Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) Community Health Workers (CMHs) Dialysis Technicians (DTs) Doulas. Identifies problems determines status completeness & appropriateness of submitted materials.
