Applications Support Analyst
Permanent Full Time (Flexible)
Band 7 starting at $105898.17 super RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

This role is responsible in ensuring that the operational processes run smoothly and enables users to conduct their daytoday activities efficiently. You will provide effective ongoing support services for approved council applications from initial installation to maintenance and further custom design.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Services/Information Technology/Computer Science or similar relevant discipline with extensive relevant practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the management and support of corporate systems in a large government or commercial setting including business as usual support lifecycle and business system architecture planning.
- Excellent understanding of industry trends problem solving advanced analytical and troubleshooting ability and thinking to help reduce business costs and continuously improve outcomes.
- Highly developed communication interpersonal and negotiating skills written and oral communication skills including documenting requirement building presenting findings and outcomes; and report writing.
- Proven ability to work in a team and collaborative environment manage time and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of basic networking and infrastructure server management.
- Ability to develop maintain and debug scripts such as PowerShell Python and similar languages.
- Knowledge and familiarity of ITIL principles and practices such as incident and change management.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle and MSSQLSVR to support application.
