Job Description

  • Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Networklocationsnegotiable with a focus on Central (Mount Pleasant & Gumeracha) and South (Southern Fleurieu Health Service)
  • Salary: $87416 $110497 p.a. (pro rata) RN/RM2C Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits
  • PermanentParttime position working 28 hours per week and/or as negotiated

Overview

You will provide specific support to the Nurse Educator Nurse Unit Managers and Nurse Manager within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network in the provision of education services and support to students on placement. Facilitating the management of a portfolio in clinical education you will provide nursing students and staff with facetoface on ground or virtual education support. This will include implementing agreed plans for communication and supervision which promotes reflective evidencebased practice improvement and supports experience sharing and problem solving. You will assist Nurse Managers to maintain a learning culture by being a resource person encouraging reflection and professional development and assisting others to maintain portfolios and records of learning. You will need to be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. This will be supported by demonstrated experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses Enrolled Nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses. With the ability to develop learning goals and deliver and evaluate education programs you will be creative innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical education setting. You will work well within a multidisciplinary team and possess effective communication problem solving conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
