Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
ASC Student Ambassadors work collaboratively with professional staff in the center to welcome students visitors and guests and direct them to the appropriate resources. Responsibilities include providing customer service through front desk and phone coverage assisting students in submitting requests for tutoring helping students schedule meetings with professional ASC staff members creating a hospitable environment for visitors in the center and completing other projects as assigned.

Personable
Reliable with good time management
Ability to follow directions and accurately record details
Currently enrolled as a student at Ithaca College having completed at least one full semester on campus
Desire to learn and grow
Commitment to student academic success
Understands the principles practices and responsibilities of cultural humility and safety for diverse populations
Ability to demonstrate compassion to students looking for support
Willingness to learn about Ithaca College Academic policy and success strategies
Available 3-5 hours per week between the hours of 10am 4pm on Monday Friday.
Pay rate is $15.50 - $15.80/hour
