Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Production Supervisors with a passion for Truck and Shovel whilst maintaining safe production at Dawson Mine.
Reporting through to the Mining Superintendent you will demonstrate a drive for safety as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills. As an experienced supervisor you will be responsible for managing and leading a large team of operators to ensure operational production standards are met.
You will effectively plan monitor and coordinate personnel equipment and resources to achieve the companies set targets and schedules. This role will be of interest to those who enjoy coaching and mentoring an established crew interesting investigative challenges and effectively working with other departments on site whilst maintaining strong relationships.
Qualifications :
Relevant skills knowledge and experience required for this role include:
- To be successful in the role you will have supervisor experience running a large team within an open cut mining operation
- Demonstrated experience with Truck and Shovel operations and a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
- You will also hold relevant certifications including S1 S2 S3 and G2 OCE ticket desirable but not mandatory
