Salary: 12.6513.05 per hour

Hours of work: 30 hrs per week 39 Weeks (term time only plus 1 week)
(Mon/Weds/Fri 8.30am 3.00pm with 30 minute lunch break)
(Tues/Thurs 8.30am to 4.00pm with 30 minute lunch break)

Contract type: Fixed 6 months with potential to become a permanent contract

A bit about the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Priestley Primary School to join our popular and successful school.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to complement further the range of skills we currently have on our team of dedicated staff.

The role involves working both as part of a team and also on your own using your initiative.

The role will be varied with no two days the same.

Initially the job will be for 6 months fixed with the potential to become a more permanent role.

Being first point of contact for parents/visitors/contractors our ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Have experience of working in a primary school office (although this is not essential).
  • Have high expectations of themselves and the pupils.
  • Have a commitment and enthusiasm for our school vision and ethos.
  • Confident in the use of IT including Word and Excel.
  • Be able to work under pressure.
  • Able to use the SIMS school management information system.
