As a part of the Ground Assets section within Network Services Group you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergys Electrical Network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of sustaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.
Key responsibilities:
- The installation of services from Evoenergy distribution network to customers premises
- Timely completion of all record keeping documentation which includes work order and task completion vehicle log sheets timesheets etc
- Be willing to complete the relevant training and authorisation for HV and LV field switching and apply these skills as part of the core role.
- Zone and distribution substation construction and maintenance
- Participate in oncall & shiftwork rosters as necessary based on Evoenergy policy.
- Other duties within the employees skill competence and training.

Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician and Certificate III ESI Distribution Cable Jointing
- An unrestricted ACT Electrical License or the ability to obtain one.
- Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure.
