In pursuit of this mission our Go To Market (GTM) team is responsible for helping customers learn how to leverage and deploy our highly capable AI products across their business. The team is made of Sales Solutions Support Marketing and Partnership professionals that work together to create valuable solutions that will help bring AI to as many users as possible.
About the role
OpenAI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to join our International Expansion Team. You will play a critical role in establishing lighthouse customers in new global regions.
This role is based in San Francisco and will include global travel. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role youll:
Work with the international team to identify and close lighthouse logos in new regions
Partner with local teams to onboard new ADs and enable new teams in region
Manage a key accounts developing and executing strategies for a comprehensive account plan to land lighthouse logos in region prior to market launch
Partner with international technical success teams to scope deploy and
Facilitate seamless transition and onboarding with local teams
Train and onboarding new team members in region
Were seeking someone with experience including:
10 years selling platformasaservice and/or softwareasaservice
Has worked internationally across cultures and geographies including language fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Has experience designing and executing complex deal strategies with crosscultural stakeholders and LATAM customers
Working directly with clevel executives and presenting to executive boards
Communicating technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
Leading highvisibility customer events (Executive Roundtables Board Meetings CSuite Presentations etc.)
Gathering distilling and processing complex market (industry competitor customer prospect) intelligence and sharing with product GTM leadership and engineering teams
Working cross functionally to establish new processes
Onboarding and enabling new members
