Carbiz is seeking a detailoriented finance professional with a knack for numbers payroll and procurement Were looking for a Finance & Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in supporting our Finance Operations and Fleet departments.

This dualfunction role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety. In this role youll be responsible for processing purchase orders daytoday financial transactions obtaining and processing bank payouts for vehicles maintaining accurate records managing payroll and ensuring data integrity across systems. Collaborating with multiple departments youll play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our financial and operational functions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:

• Supporting our Fleet accounting practices through processing purchase orders invoices reconciling financial transactions and ensuring data integrity of fleet assets.
• Prepare and process payroll for employees accurately and on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with ATO and SGC requirements.
• Ensure employee payroll records including leave balance are maintained.
• Ensure any payroll related queries are actioned promptly.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation including transaction logs and financial reports.
• Assist in tracking departmental budgets and expenditures providing support for budget reviews and variance analysis.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and procurement policies assisting in audits and compliance checks as needed.

About You:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Admin or similar (preferred).
• 1 years experience in finance and/or payroll (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
• Sound knowledge of financial processes and procurement practices.
• Clear communicator with the ability to engage internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to problemsolve and improve processes where needed.
• Experience using finance and payroll software systems (desirable).
• Data literate (desirable).
