Job Description
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Finance Department.
- Guarantee the preparation and submission of management accounts (monthly quarterly and yearly) group consolidations and statutory financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations by submitting SST/GST and withholding tax filings accurately and on time.
- Maintain adherence to accounting standards the Group s financial policies and legal requirements across all financial systems and documentation.
- Oversee the finalization and timely submission of audited financial statements tax returns and other mandatory financial reports.
- Monitor and manage cash flow liquidity and treasuryrelated functions.
- Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual budgeting process.
- Establish and enforce strong internal controls and standardized procedures within the department.
- Serve as the primary contact for external parties including auditors bankers tax agents and regulatory authorities.
- Provide leadership supervision and mentorship to the finance team to ensure efficient task execution.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Have professional certificates eg. CPA ACCA MIA are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years experience in finance. Candidates with audit experience or with work experience in public listed companies or with management or supervisory experience are an advantage.
- Able to prepare group consolidation financial reports
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with project teams.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Navision is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
