An exciting opportunity is available for skilled Data Analysts to support highimpact projects within a federal government department. This role will initially require fulltime onsite work in Canberra for the first three months. Following this flexible working arrangements including partial workfromhome may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business and data requirements.
- Develop dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and SAP Business Objects.
- Analyse data to support decisionmaking and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Support reporting needs and respond to change requests using internal tools.
- Produce documentation including business/functional/technical specifications and BI wireframes.
About You:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience working on complex ICT/datarelated projects (minimum 5 years preferred).
- Familiarity with business analysis methods aligned with SFIA level 5 capabilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be an Australian citizen with or able to obtain an AGSVA clearance.
- Willingness to comply with departmental onboarding timesheeting and clearance procedures.
