Job Description
Our client is a leading supplier of industrial equipment offering a vast range of products from vacuum cleaners sweepers to utility equipment. They are currently seeking a Service Writer to join their organization. This role plays a crucial part in the daily service operations serving as the primary liaison between customers technicians and parts staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Manager with daily service operations and workflow management.
- Act as the first point of contact for service customersboth in person and over the phone.
- Create edit and follow up on service quotes and work orders.
- Communicate effectively with technicians parts staff and customers to ensure smooth job execution.
- Track service progress and update customers on status and timelines.
- Maintain service records documentation and scheduling.
- Support the coordination of warranty claims and service billing.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering clear consistent and friendly communication.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a service advisor service writer or customer service role preferably in a dealership repair shop or equipmentrelated industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and stay organized under pressure.
- Comfort working with quotes invoices and service management software.
