Consultant / Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant/Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary surgical team in one of Victoria s most scenic and affordable regional cities. As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will:
  • Deliver high-quality orthopaedic services including trauma, elective procedures, and outpatient care
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to registrars, interns, and junior doctors
  • Participate in on-call and emergency orthopaedic rosters
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement
  • Engage in teaching and research initiatives in collaboration with academic partners

What We re Looking For
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS)
  • AHPRA registration as a Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Experience in both trauma and elective orthopaedic procedures
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Prior experience in a regional or rural setting (preferred)
