Kanadevia Inova are hiring a Document Controller for a fixedtermcontract of 24 months. You would join our project team on our construction site in Bloxwich Walsall. This position is primarily site based.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for controlling the numbering filing sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams projects or departments in a timely accurate and efficient manner
- Allocate and control the document numbering system for the project work working with precision to ensure that all electronic and hard copy filing is accurate and is easily retrievable
- Respond in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information information searches and general requests for support from project/department personnel
- Administration of PIRS document system
- Establish develop and manage effective documentation systems and procedures and maintain relevant manuals / systems
Qualifications :
- Information Management or similar qualification desirable
- Must have experience with Document Control Systems ideally PIRS or equivalent
- Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC) Safepass (ROI) CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent (desirable)
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Solution orientated forward planner strong communicator
