Job Description

Job Title: HeadCoach Archery

Reports to: Site AD

Work Schedule/FLSA Status: Seasonal NonExempt

Salary: Extracurricular Stipend Group I

Purpose Statement

The Springfield Missouri Public School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Athletic Coach.

The Springfield School District is Missouris largest public school district and has built a reputation of academic excellence based on the outstanding performance of our students and schools. About 25000 students attend 36 elementary schools an intermediate school 9 middle schools 5 high schools and a variety of alternative education and choice programs.

The job of AthleticCoach is done for the purpose/s of assisting in the athletic program for the assigned sport in accordance with applicable rules and regulations; providing supervision of students during all aspects of the program; using sound instructional techniques in overseeing program activities; serving as a positive role model to student athletes.

Experience

Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility required

Education

High School Diploma or GED required

Bachelors degree preferred

Other education requirements are dependent upon position

Miscellaneous Requirements

Background clearance the results of which must be satisfactory to the District required
