Job Description
As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist you will:
- Deliver expert forensic mental health input through consultation intervention and education.
- Collaborate across various forensic service arms to ensure integrated care.
- Contribute to education and training initiatives within the service.
- Uphold national standards and evidence-based practices in mental health.
- Promote multidisciplinary approaches to assessment and management.
- Demonstrates clinical excellence and leadership in forensic psychiatry.
- Values collaboration and cultural responsiveness.
- Is committed to continuous improvement and health equity particularly in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
