Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a financial assistant to support the finance team with daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will focus on accurate data capturing reporting and analysis and have experience using Modus and MRI software systems. The candidate must also be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Capture and process financial data accurately and efficiently on Modus and MRI.
- Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports reconciliations and analysis.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Monitor and track invoices payments and expense claims.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks as required.
- Compile and analyze financial data using Excel for reporting and audit purposes.
- Ensure data integrity and perform regular checks for accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with other departments to collect and verify financial information.
- Assist with general administrative tasks related to the finance function.
Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of a National Diploma or Certificate in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2 3 years experience in a financial assistant data capturing or finance administration role.
- Proven experience using Modus and MRI property or financial systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUPs pivot tables formulas).
- Skills:
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
