Job Summary:
As a Fund Accountant Reporting Specialist within JP Morgans Financial Reporting Team you will manage the production and review of financial statements for hedge and mutual fund clients. You will ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP focusing on detail and quality. You will lead a team providing direction and support in technical and auditrelated matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review primary financial statements and related notes per accounting requirements.
- Plan audits and resources with internal parties.
- Conduct analytical review of yearonyear movements in financial statements.
- Manage consistency across financial statements for large clients.
- Analyze client accounting records and escalate potential issues.
- Identify and correct misstatements in accounting records.
- Resolve team queries and act as a reference point for junior members.
- Liaise with partner sites for external deliveries.
- Interact with stakeholders to address accounting queries.
- Recognize and act on process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure risk and control checks are adhered to and updated postaudit cycles.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Have 8 years of experience in Financial Reporting or Audit in the Funds industry.
- Hold a postgraduate degree/CA/CPA with a major in Finance/Accounting.
- Demonstrate experience in managing people and setting objectives.
- Exhibit strong management skills and build key internal relationships.
- Maintain strong attention to detail in document review and analytical capabilities.
- Possess excellent knowledge of primary GAAPs Irish/UK IFRS US GAAP.
- Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines managing multiple deliverables.
