Jetbro is a dynamic software development firm specializing in scalable web applications. We pride ourselves on a collaborative culture continuous learning and delivering highquality products to our clients.
We re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer with 6 months 1 year of professional experience to join our team. You ll work closely with senior engineers to design build and maintain features using Elixir PostgreSQL Tailwind CSS and HTML. You ll also manage code via GitHub leveraging feature branches for clean organized development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Write clean efficient Elixir code for backend services and APIs.
- Database Management: Design and interact with PostgreSQL databases (schema design queries migrations).
- FrontEnd Styling: Implement responsive UIs using Tailwind CSS and semantic HTML.
- Version Control: Use GitHub with featurebranch workflows create branches open pull requests resolve merge conflicts and follow codereview processes.
- Testing & Debugging: Write and run unit and integration tests; troubleshoot and resolve bugs.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily standups sprint planning and peer code reviews.
- Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for code database schemas and workflow processes.
Requirements
- Experience: 6 months 1 year in a professional development role.
- Elixir: Handson experience building applications or modules in Elixir.
- PostgreSQL: Competent with writing SQL queries understanding joins/indexes and managing migrations.
- Tailwind CSS & HTML: Able to craft responsive accessible frontend layouts.
- Git & GitHub: Solid grasp of featurebranch workflows pull requests and merge strategies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Team Player: Willingness to learn from senior developers and share knowledge with peers.
