Torch Technologies has big plans for growth and we need you to help us get there! We are seeking a Junior level Recruiter to join our Human Resources Team onsite at our Kettering OH office as we continue on this exciting journey!
This position requires a highly motivated individual with recruiting experience to include but not limited to the following duties:
Support all aspects of full cycle recruitment.
Source qualified candidates through various channels such as LinkedIn Indeed Glassdoor etc. cold calling referrals networking events etc.
Screen resumes against position requirements and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other key stakeholders.
Coordinate interview schedules between internal/external candidates and hiring managers.
Conduct initial phone screens with candidates to assess fit and interest.
Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to gather necessary details for the position and draft requisition.
Posts positions within applicant tracking system using approved template.
Provide feedback to candidates after each stage of the process.
Maintain accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Collaborate with manager to design interview/screening questions.
Follow up with manager on status of candidates weekly and provide update to manager on the status of recruiting efforts at a minimum of a bi-weekly basis.
Partner with Recruiters and Sourcing Specialiston urgent needs and hard to fill positions as needed.
Record recruiting and sourcing activities daily using open requisition tracker.
Ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Attend local career fairs and recruiting events as needed.
Conduct EEO Veteran and Disability outreach efforts.
Cultivate a spirit of collaboration and cooperation with the Recruiting and HR teams to ensure smooth and efficient company operations.
Bachelors degree is required preferably in Human Resources Business Administration Communications or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant full cycle recruiting experience is required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Teams Sharepoint).
Must be a proactive resourceful self-motivated and results-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Workday applicant tracking system (ATS) is strongly preferred.
Government contracting recruiting experience preferred.
