Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a key player in our organisations growth strategy you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities developing strong client relationships and driving sales performance.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research networking and proactive outreach
  • Develop and maintain strong longterm relationships with clients to foster repeat business and brand loyalty
  • Explore untapped markets and identify opportunities for business expansion
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to implement effective sales strategies
  • Create and present compelling proposals for our organizations products or services
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and business goals
  • Represent the company at industry events trade shows and conferences
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in sales or business development preferably in a B2B environment
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Natural leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Passion for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities
  • Enthusiasm for building and maintaining longterm client relationships
  • Selfmotivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced goaloriented environment
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
