We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a key player in our organisations growth strategy you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities developing strong client relationships and driving sales performance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research networking and proactive outreach
- Develop and maintain strong longterm relationships with clients to foster repeat business and brand loyalty
- Explore untapped markets and identify opportunities for business expansion
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to implement effective sales strategies
- Create and present compelling proposals for our organizations products or services
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and business goals
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and conferences
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in sales or business development preferably in a B2B environment
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Natural leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities
- Enthusiasm for building and maintaining longterm client relationships
- Selfmotivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation and problemsolving skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced goaloriented environment
- Strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
