Role: Specialist Support Assistant (Female only)
Location:Prestbury Cheltenham
Hours:36 48 hours per week (Days or Nights)
Shifts: 12 hours
Pay:14.65 per hour.
Driving Requirements: A full UK manual driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive the person we supports vehicle.
DBS Check: This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check which will be provided by Prosperity Care & Wellbeing.

About the Role:

Were looking for exceptional female support workers to be part of something truly special a dedicated 2:1 care team for a young woman living independently (Shes an animal lover so theres a good chance a dog or cat will join the family in the future!) in Cheltenham.

This lady lives with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) a complex condition that affects the way her brain and body communicateresulting in symptoms like seizures movement difficulties and profound fatigue.

Despite these challenges she brings warmth humour and an incredible spark to her home. Shes a former actress who values honesty trust excellent communication and attention to detail. She thrives with support workers who are not only compassionate calm under pressure and dependable but can also bring a smile to her day while providing highquality care.

She owns a manual vehicle so you must be a confident driver with a full UK manual licence.

Who Were Looking For:

• Have experience with personal care
• Are confident with manual handling
• Can assist with complex medication procedures
• Feel comfortable managing domestic tasks
• Provide emotional support with empathy and professionalism
• Communicate clearly and confidently
• 21 or older
• Must be female (Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010)
