Job Description
Senior Specialist Support Worker
Location: Twigworth Gloucestershire
Hours: Up to 45 hours per week
Pay: 14.92 per hour
Shift Pattern: Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Driving Requirements: Due to the nature of this role a UK Full Clean driving license with access to a vehicle withbusiness insurance (or willingness to obtain) is essential. You may also be required to drive theindividuals vehicle if necessary.
DBS Check: This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check which will be provided byProsperity Care & Wellbeing.

We are looking forhighly experienced Support Workers wanting to progress or Senior Support Workers looking for a change who have experience working withchallenging behaviours to join our awardwinning team.
Your Role:
Were looking for a compassionate and confident Senior Support Worker to help young adults with complex needs and challenging behaviours lead more independent lives. In this role youll lead and inspire a team of Support Workers providing handson care managing behaviours safely and creating a positive personcentred environment where everyone thrives. Youll mentor staff ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed and always handle sensitive information with the utmost care.
Requirements:
- Proven experiencein Complex Care and working with Challenging Behaviours.
- Exceptional leadership skillsto motivate inspire and support a team.
- Strong communicatorwith the ability to build meaningful relationships with individuals families and colleagues.
- Indepth knowledge of safeguarding personcentred care and relevant legislation and best practices.
- A calm patient and empathetic approach to effectively manage challenging situations.
- Dedication to reducing restrictive practicesand empowering others.
- Resilient committed and passionateabout making a real difference in the role.
