Job Description

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to support the implementation and delivery of the Wells Fargobranded credit card growth strategy for the Credit Card & Merchant Services (CMS) lineofbusiness. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at .

About this role:

The Wells Fargobranded credit card team manages a portfolio of consumer credit card products designed to drive responsible and sustainable growth in a competitive market. Over the past three years we have successfully launched five new cards including Active Cash Reflect Attune Autograph & Autograph Journey to reestablish Wells Fargos credit card offering and commitment to our is an exciting time to be part of the team as we transform the credit card business to support Well Fargos growth strategy.

The Senior Strategy Consultant will be at the forefront of driving change to support the WFbranded credit card growth agenda. You will engage with the Credit Card leadership team subject matter experts and key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that deliver responsible and profitable growth. Your insights and analysis will help to identify growth opportunities resolve constraints and guide leadership to shape the future of Wells Fargos branded credit card business.

In this role you will be responsible for working with Credit Card leadership the branded Credit Card product team and stakeholders to:

  • Provide credit card technology subject matter expertise to develop and maintain the branded Credit Card strategic growth plan
  • Provide credit card technology expertise to drive the development & implementation of the branded card investment roadmap
  • Support a select portfolio of largescale crossfunctional branded credit card investments
  • Provide datadriven recommendations to improve investment prioritization and the delivery of the branded credit card strategic plan

This team member will be responsible for the design and delivery of the branded credit card investment roadmap. The role requires a combination of strategic planning business transformation consulting risk management partner management and communications.

In this role you will:

  • Support the branded credit card investment planning process as a credit card technology subject matter expert; engage with credit card product leadership and key stakeholders to establish investment priorities and delivery objectives
  • Advise the branded credit card leadership on technologyrelated opportunities to improve investment performance including delivering datadriven recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Manage Wells Fargo technology partners and key stakeholders to identify critical dependencies and secure commitment to deliver the branded card investment roadmap
  • Lead teams of credit card technology subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop datadriven recommendations that support branded credit card investment prioritization and strategic plan decisionmaking
  • Advise on the development and implementation of a communications plan to achieve broad alignment on branded credit card investment priorities and delivery objectives


Required Qualifications:

  • 7 years of Business Execution Implementation or Strategic Planning experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with credit card technology planning and delivery specifically managing a portfolio of credit card initiatives that requires coordination with multiple business and technology stakeholders
  • Banking experience specifically within credit card
  • Credit card technology experience specifically managing a portfolio of technology projects in a matrixed organizational environment
  • Consulting experience demonstrating an ability to rapidly adapt to change manage ambiguity and function in a matrixed organizational environment
  • Effectively coordinate communicate influence and manage team members partners & a diverse set of WF stakeholders managing broad guidelines and creating actional recommendations
  • Strong seniorexecutive level leader presence with ability to synthesize complex information in a manner that informs and influences effectively
  • Structured analytical thinker problemsolver and communicator; excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Robust data and analysis skills with a proven ability to generate actionable datadriven recommendations and solutions
  • Keen sense of ownership and decisionmaking skills around impacts; operates with a sense of urgency and routinely goes above and beyond


Job Expectations:

  • Willingness to work onsite at stated location on the job opening.
  • This role offers a hybrid work schedule (a minimum of 3 days a week onsite)
  • Minimal travel: ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
