As part of theirmission to redefine migraine care they are looking for a Product Manager tospearhead the development and growth of their Cece app transforming it into aleading softwareasamedicaldevice (SaMD) solution.
Your role
The Product Manager of CeCe will leadthe evolution of their digital app managing its lifecycle from development tooptimization. This role bridges product development patient experience andstrategic growth focusing on creating bestinclass features while ensuringregulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a deepunderstanding of patient needs experience in app development and healthcaretechnology and the vision to scale the CeCe app into a leading platform forpatient engagement and support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development and Strategy
- Define and own the product roadmap forthe CeCe app prioritizing features and updates based on business goals andpatient feedback.
- Partner with engineering teams to drivethe development of new app functionalities ensuring they align with user needsand industry best practices.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensuretechnical interoperability and development alignment between the app anddevices.
- Introduce innovative solutions toenhance the apps usability engagement and integration with Cefaly devices.
2. PatientCentric Focus
- Conduct user research to understand patientpain points and translate these into actionable app features.
- Collaborate with customer service andclinical teams to incorporate feedback from patients especially regardingusability and accessibility challenges.
3. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight
- Ensure the CeCe app complies with allrelevant SaMD MDSW regulations including FDA and EMA standards.
- Collaborate with the quality assuranceteam to maintain rigorous testing and documentation protocols.
4. Data Analytics and Growth
- Define key metrics to track the appsperformance and patient engagement.
- Analyze user behavior to identify growthopportunities and implement datadriven strategies to enhance app retention andvalue.
5. CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing R&D ITand Data Analytics to align app development with broader company goals.
- Support partnerships with healthcareprofessionals and patient advocacy groups to drive app adoption.
6. Market Positioning and Scaling
- Develop strategies to position the CeCeapp as a premium offering including subscription models and valueaddedservices.
- Identify opportunities to expand theapps features into broader markets such as integration with other healthplatforms or expanding its indications.
Your profile
- Bachelor or Masters degree in ProductManagement Software Engineering Healthcare Technology or related fields.
- 5 years in product management ideallywithin healthcare technology mobile apps or SaMD MDSW domains.
- Proven track record of managing productroadmaps and delivering successful app features.
- Experience working within regulatedindustries and understanding compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and experienceworking with API databases and data analytics tools (e.g. SQL TableauGoogle Analytics).
- Ability to read and understand code
- Proficiency in software developmenttools and platforms (e.g. Xcode Android Studio Jira Confluence GitHubFigma or similar) is an asset
- Excellent project management skillswith the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills for collaborating across diverse teams.
- Understanding of usercentered designprinciples and Agile development methodologies.
- Fluency in English.
