Raytheon Surveillance Logistics team is seeking a Sr Supervisor to serve as a team member responsible for shipping of government owned assets in accordance with Defense Contract Management Agency Transportation rules and regulations. You will perform a wide array of duties from preparation of government bills of lading using government software from Surface Deployment and Distribution Command.

What You Will Do

  • Instill a culture of safety and quality.

  • Successfully lead a packaging documentation center and Shipping team to execute to aggressive schedules meeting required metrics.

  • Lead a team which executes Wide Area Work Flow Receiving Reports DD1149s and DD1348s.

  • Accountability to the governments many rules and regulations specified in the Defense Transportation Regulations Military freight traffic unified rules publication and others.

  • Foreign Military Sales preparation using the Defense Contract Management Agency transportation tools and MilSTD129 for the preparation of Military Shipment labels.

  • Handle and ship items listed in the Defense Transportation Regulation Part II sensitive and classified materials.

  • Coordinate and monitor workflow for team members assist in prioritizing activities in assigned areas to improve upon service level commitment.

  • Supporting team supervisors and external sites in the organization.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.

  • 2 years of experience shipping Military assets using government shipping software systems

  • 2 years of experience coordinating the shipment of classified and sensitive items including Arms Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E)

  • Experience with Microsoft office suites (Word Excel PowerPoint)

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • General industry experience and understanding of protocol in a defense company including work with Government Furnished Material (GFM)

  • Working knowledge of SAP Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) and Defense Transportation Regulations

  • Import/Export Compliance experience

  • Experience keeping auditable records

  • Experience with loading dock activities

  • Effective time management

  • Possess a solid reputation for safety professionalism and ethical responsibility

  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills

  • High data entry speed and accuracy

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
