About the Role

The Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising and leading the day to day operations of service and parts activities for TMHAs Darwin branch. It is a critical position to ensure the service team complies with TMHAs standards but also focused on achieving service levels and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to promote growth for the branch. The incumbent will be reporting directly to the Branch Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the manpower to provide a level of support that meets or exceeds customers expectations.
  • Review utilisation rate of technicians and ensure that they perform the requirements and duties of their position.
  • Manage spare parts for the branch including inventory levels and ensure parts sales grow.
  • Assist technicians with spare parts including stock levels for the branch and respond to any parts related issues that technicians may have.
  • Comply with TMHA spare parts processes and procedures. Have accurate and timely flow of spare parts to support the operations of the branch.
  • Conduct visits to technicians at customer sites to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with TMHAs quality standards.
  • Understand and resolve technician and customer related issues.
  • Review and manage safety matters to ensure that technicians work is a safe manner.

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant trade qualification;
  • Strong leadership skills including people management and supervision;
  • Strong safety experience. Completion of safety qualification is desirable;
  • Extensive product knowledge of Toyota Material Handling Australia products;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Previous experience with spare parts and inventory control;
  • Experienced in customer service and dealing with customer enquiries;
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills;
