Job Summary:
The F&B Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring prompt courteous and efficient service of food and beverages in the restaurant inroom dining or banquet events as per the standards of the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating and menu choices.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
- Serve food and beverages as per standard operating procedures (SOPS).
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and resolving any complaints or issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations dining area and service equipment.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables polishing cutlery and refilling condiments.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials and loyalty programs where applicable.
- Maintain billing and payment procedures accurately.
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 02 years of experience in F&B service; freshers with internships may apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customerfocused attitude with a pleasant personality.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus and service styles.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work in shifts including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift trays and move quickly between tables and kitchen/service stations.
