Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of food and beverage services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff scheduling and training programs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor inventory and control costs effectively.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality.
- Evaluate and improve service processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for quality food products.
- Manage budget planning and financial forecasting.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare regular reports on service performance and trends.
- Recruit and train new team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members.
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote offerings.
- Ensure the establishment meets aesthetic and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an area manager or similar role in food and beverage.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Experience in sales and marketing strategies.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Certification in food safety is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with industry trends and innovations.
- Willingness to travel within the area as necessary.
