Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of food and beverage services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage staff scheduling and training programs.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor inventory and control costs effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality.
  • Evaluate and improve service processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for quality food products.
  • Manage budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare regular reports on service performance and trends.
  • Recruit and train new team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for staff members.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to promote offerings.
  • Ensure the establishment meets aesthetic and operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an area manager or similar role in food and beverage.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Experience in sales and marketing strategies.
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Certification in food safety is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and innovations.
  • Willingness to travel within the area as necessary.
