Job Description
Richland School District is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education and Health Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting physical fitness wellness and healthy lifestyles among students while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging PE and health curriculum aligned with state standards.
Promote physical activity teamwork and lifelong wellness habits.
Provide instruction in a variety of sports fitness activities and health topics.
Assess student performance and maintain accurate records.
Ensure a safe respectful and positive classroom and gym environment.
Collaborate with staff to support schoolwide health and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Physical Education Health Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification in Physical Education and Health (or eligible).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
