About the Role
Are you passionate about startups and eager to learn the art of fundraising We are seeking a motivated Business Development Intern to support our efforts in acquiring funds and building strategic partnerships. This is a handson role ideal for students or recent graduates interested in business development fundraising and startup growth.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify fully funded startup opportunities grants and potential investors.
- Assist in preparing funding applications pitch decks and partnership proposals.
- Support outreach to donors funding organizations and accelerators.
- Help maintain a database of prospects and track application progress.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop new fundraising strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and funding news relevant to startups.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Marketing Finance or a related field.
- Strong research communication and organizational skills.
- Proactive and eager to learn about startup funding and donor relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with online research.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
