Job Description

GLS/NXT is looking for a Working Student in People & Business Processes to support key initiatives across our people operations team development and organisational excellence initiatives.

In this role youll work closely with our leadership and people managers to drive smooth hiring onboarding and performance review processes while also supporting learning initiatives and team events. Youll help ensure clarity structure and strong communication across all people & business process-related activities.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive detail-oriented and excited to contribute to a fast-paced people-centric environment where processes culture and communication go hand in hand.

Tasks

  • Support hiring initiatives (creation of job profiles scheduling and execution of interviews advise for hiring manager throughout process management of contract creation process)
  • Manage onboarding process for new hires
  • Support performance review process and regular peer reviews(ensure performance review process is conducted thoroughly support technical process in Wrenly)
  • Drive people-managers meetings and support leadership in people initiatives
  • Support Learning & Development for the team (need based - support reaching from finding suitable development initiatives to coaching of team leads)
  • Support team with all people related questions and help coordinate
  • Support organising and running team events
  • Support admin and compliance basics (manage vacation tracking and time off requests)
  • Support GLS/NXT leadership in controlling and budgeting processes

Requirements

  • Ongoing studies in business administration quality management psychology human resources or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of recurring processes and small projects
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • Interest in people operations organizational development operational excellence and team dynamics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with various stakeholders including leadership
  • Solution-oriented approach with the ability to ask relevant questions and drive progress
  • Availability of 1520 hours per week and motivation to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
