POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager Women and Childrens Services will play an integral role in the development of an innovative SVdP Georgia program to provide critical support to single pregnant women with children. Reporting to the Senior Director of Programs and Services the Manager will provide case management services for a limited number of women while collaborating with property managers community partners volunteer members and SVdP Support Center staff to deliver a holistic program for pregnant women in crisis. The program plan prioritizes stable housing nutrition and wellness vocational and wraparound support to help pregnant women with existing children safely navigate through a tumultuous time to longterm stability. The Manager will also support SVdP program efforts for the general population of neighbors in need assisting with workforce development and community partnerships supporting volunteers and strengthening existing case management services.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Draft program guidelines based on agreedupon goals and parameters
  • Collaborate with community partners staff and volunteers to deliver core services
  • Vet program applicants with criteria to balance need with probability of success
  • Provide onsite case management to a limited number of pregnant women in SVdPs temporary housing facility/ masterleased apartment
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of program participation and case management notes in the SVdP case management system
  • Help define exit strategies for program participants to migrate to stability within established timeperiod
  • Track expenses and adhere to the program budget
  • Become the subject matter expert on resources to support healthy pregnancy and new mothers in postpartum recovery
  • Interface with volunteer members in need of support for neighbors they are serving within local SVdP chapters
  • Collaborate with SVdP Housing Hunger and Health departmental leads to integrate SVdP core focus areas with program development
  • With Senior Director define program outcomes metrics and data tracking protocols
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in social work or related field preferred
  • 35 years experience in nonprofit /social service program development or case management preferred
  • Ability to think creatively initiate and implement new programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer support skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively / communicate effectively with team members a must
  • High degree of ethical standards
  • Willingness to agree to SVdPs faithbased approach to supporting the dignity of all life including appropriate program partnerships
  • Strong customer support and people skills
  • Even temper ability to deescalate and work well with people in crisis situations
  • Possess attention to detail and followthrough
  • Ability to be flexible multitask and organize priorities while maintaining a high level of focus and accuracy.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to lift at least 30 pounds.

This position requires moderate though not constant physical effort typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling and prolonged standing and which may involve some lifting carrying pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of up to 30 pounds. Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors sounds and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally. Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
This position works primarily in an inperson office environment Monday Friday during normal business hours and also requires onsite visits to program participants homes or SVdP program housing locations. This staffer may be required to be available on nights and weekends for meetings and other special events.


Compensation:
