Per Diem CRNA Needed at Central Austin TX Specialty Hospital
Description
The Heart Hospital of Austin features 6 ORs 1 EP lab & NORA cases in a specialty adult 72 bed are exceptionally caring with great outcomes. Professional autonomy within a team modelin an awardwinning hospital is another aspect which makes our practice special. We have close &collaborative working relationships within our anesthesia team with our surgeons and with hospital staff. We work hardto provide excellent care of our high acuity patients. We are looking for clinically strong providers to augment our full time staff. This is also an opportunity for you to see why we may be right for you to join ourfull time team!

Case Assignments
EP lab endovascular NORA (TEEs Endo) and general surgery. No OB peds or depending on experience.
Interested in open hearts We provide a comprehensive orientation to anybody that chooses to joinour team as a fulltime provider!
Shifts
No call weekends holidays. We do not have shifts but use a peel/waterfall integrated staffing modelresulting in some shorter some longer days. No call weekends holidays

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Preanesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patients physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
