JOB TITLE: Analyst (Intermediate)

CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance

LOCATION: Huntsville AL

REPORTS TO: Program Manager

FLSA STATUS: Regular FullTime Exempt

SUMMARY: SABG is an Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville Alabama. This position will support Agency Executives and Senior Leaders with daytoday mission planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Assist DT Directorate with Strategic Planning activities.
  • Capable of delivering a high level of customer support and integration handling several complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Review staff packages appropriately for DT Front Office approval; which includes editing final products for historic relevance and current DT considerations.
  • Possess an elevated understanding and experience in BMDS Testing to develop and refine PowerPoint presentations documents and Talking Points for the Director and staff.
  • Create and edit the Weekly and Monthly Reports for a large complex organization to be used by the MDA Director and senior staff.
  • Directorate for Test Space Coordinator and Primary Move Coordinator use Program Resource Internet Database Environment (PRIDE) and Workforce Integration Tracking System (WITS).
  • Responsible for all personnel arrivals departures transfers of support from one organization to another changes of status moves to offsite locations relocations to and from other MDA locations.
  • Responsible for space allocation within DT and moving assigned personnel within the organization front office and the DT suborganizations and special activity groups within their allocated space.

SUPERVISION:This position has no supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Capable of comprehending contract administration duties to support stakeholder requirements. Has relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge skill and ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS and 3 years experience in administrative/business field; AA and 4 years experience in administrative/business field; or 10 years experience in administrative/business field. Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint.
  • Possess 2 years experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (Senior Executive Service (SES) or Flag Officer).
  • Capable of executing day to day office operations and mission planning associated with senior executive level leadership including serving as an advisor and assisting with detailed planning of complex management projects issues and initiatives.
  • Proficient in advanced analytical thinking; working in a teaming environment developing corporate strategies goals and objectives and briefing recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience planning facilitating and conducting executivelevel activities.
  • Proficient in preparing reviewing and coordinating executive level correspondence.
  • Experience in government travel processes and systems.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining schedules including calendar synchronization of events and integration of activities for senior leaders.
  • Proficient in classified correspondence handling procedures.
  • Proficient in government task management systems (ETMS2)
  • Experience planning facilitating and conducting organizational studies and presenting results and recommendations.
  • Proficient in researching reviewing and preparing meeting support materials (e.g. briefings papers readahead).
  • Experience working with government timemanagement procedures and systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of record management processes.
  • Must possess high levels of communication skills (oral and written) interpersonal skills organization and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission and organization missile testing USSF Western Range Ft. Greely AK and Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) are a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
  • Must have strong proficiency in MS Office applications with a heavy emphasis on Word and Excel skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read analyze and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations including budget forecasting.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
